About the TNS Server . . . We also follow several conventions to help you navigate our pages. Look for these characters at the bottom of pages:
The Quokka will faithfully return you to our
home page.
The Webmaster prompts you to send us a message.
The Wizard
reveals the code that wrote the page you are visiting, for those Active Pages that are generated
dynamically.
You're welcome to browse our programs and take a copy for yourself, though a little credit never hurt. Most active pages are implemented as Tcl scripts that run in tclsh, both from Berkeley. They use cgi.tcl, our homebrew library of routines to make it easier to write Tcl CGI scripts. Some scripts also get HTML documents themselves using http-get, our homebrew PERL script.
