Yep. I was able to tweak a bronze only schedule out and was able to make it
work. It is probably the kind of thing that was used. The harp is vastly
improved, though by using composite strings in the far bass. Still, it was
playable, had good string feel, and was quite stable.
As to Bunting's scales? The only thing that seems certain is that the
string bands were designed more by trial and error and perhaps by geometric
means (rather like the engineering of buildings at the time).
