Yeah. Me too.
While there's nothing wrong with the idea of distributing graphics or
other binaries by e-mail to willing participants, that is not what the
list "harp@mit.edu" is about.

You may find that view shared by the old Unix gearheads who created
and still inhabit the Net. But we are indeed the minority now.
New technologies will come. We will build them. Someday, communities
like us will probably be multimedia and interactive. The Web is the
beginning of that. But ... harp@mit.edu isn't it. It's just an
old-fashioned mailing list.
