Anyone have any suggestions on the best type of mic to use for
amplification. I currently have a few voice mics laying around, all
excellent quality, but for some reason the amplification doesn't sound good
at all - there's an abundance of feedback and excess vibration. Is there a
specific type of mic that is used which does not produce these unwanted results?

Also, is there a way to somehow mount small mics(condensers) that allows
the mic to pick up vibration directly from the vibrating string, possibly in
contact with the grommets on the soundboard. I think this would produce the
best amplification, if such a "hook-up" is possible..
