Folk Harp Journal Exchange Subscriptions

Dear Friends of the Harp,

Philippe Clement's note about the current contact for the
American Harp Journal was very timely. I've been looking for it myself.

This year I inherited the ISFHC (International Society of Folk
Harpers and Craftsmen) database as part of my volunteer secretary role for
the society. This database includes other musical publications with which
we exchange subscriptions as well as libraries which receive the journal
at a greatly reduced rate. There has always been the wish on the part of
our board to see both of these areas ... the exchange subscriptions and
the library subscriptions ... grow in a continually widening circle.

Would you like to help me with this project? If you know of a
publication you think the Folk Harp Journal ought to be exchanging with
or if you know of a library ... public, private, university ... that
might be interested in subscribing at a greatly reduced rate ($16 per
year), would you please e-mail me the name and address so that I can send
a note and a sample copy.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if someone is attracted to this outreach role and would
like to take it on as a volunteer for the society, we'd be very grateful.
It's a position that would do a great deal of good all around for
everyone involved. It's a role that a person could take on and go as far
with it as they care to and at their own speed. Please give it your thoughts.

Thanks, again, Phillipe, for reminding us that the American Harp
Journal has "moved."

with a grace-note or two,

Adam
