YES!!! they are very good value for the money. I own a student model
(Eriskay, I think....) and have played the others. Mine has a wonderful
tone, and is a great size for small to medium size players (children,
adults). My only suggestion is do not skimp on the levers. I got the
cheapest light brass Loveland-type levers, and I wish I had gotten more
heavy duty ones. I think this is an option that Mike Anderson offers.
When all of the blades are on, the top octave sounds a wee bit "pinched"
and I believe this would improve with sturdier levers.

Since you appear to be posting from Ireland, you won't have the concern
that I did - which was that harps made in Scotland tend to be more
acclimated to a damper climate and tend to dry/crack in our Midwestern
centrally heated homes. Happy harping! I suppose you know that Starfish
has a Web Page.....?
