The Venusians also have an interesting PoliTacle model. It's double cross
strung and doesn't take much skill if the performer looks good and is well
dressed.
The PoliTacle model has the facility of taking the most complex melodies and
reducing them to simple forms. What is most amazing about the PoliTacle Harp
is that the audience hears what they want to hear not what is actually being
played.

To anyone considering a PoliTacle Harp:
I thought the PoliTacle was just too good to be true and because of my
harping shortcomings, I was strongly considering adding it to my harp-lust
collection. However, I will share some information that just recently came
to my attention. (My source is both reliable and credible.)
Do not for one moment be lulled into illusions of excellence by this
model harp. Using it in gig or concert could be an extremely dangerous and
debilitating experience, even if you are well dressed.
I found out that an exceptional Venusian harpist was flamed off the stage
by the audience and forced to flee the only performance-approved city on the
planet because of what that audience *thought* they heard while the harpist
played this instrument.
Unfortunately shuttles were booked for expanded time lines on multiple
parallels and the last I heard, the harpist was seen lurking on the planet in
a deserted and dusty bowl of repose (crater) stringing up the traitorous
tune-bending PoliTacle.
Now, this harp with a mind of its own might be magical at times, but I
dont much care for whim-wham and I'm not sure of my wardrobe, so Im passing
on it. Besides, it comes with a no-guarantee, no-refund certificate.
