Denise,

Many of us have to drive used our economy cars that cost well below
$10,000. Does this mean that we shouldn't have the right to drive?
Similarly, some of us either can't afford harp lessons due to the cost
of our new (and sometimes used) harps, or have chosen for other reasons
to take a different path. Does this mean that we love the harp any
less or that we don't deserve to have our instruments? Many harp
players have taken lessons and benefitted from them, while many equally
accomplished players have taken the self-taught and peer-taught route
and done just fine. I respect your position and your opinion, but
please understand that there are other approaches to playing the harp
that are just as valid.
