Instrument names do indeed seem to come with some
instruments, don't they, just as some people seem born
with names (I had picked out 2 totally different
names for my son, but when he arrived, he was Robert).
My larger folk harp's name is Aria; my smaller is
Celeste. I have a Gibson C-1 classic guitar from
1966 which came with the name Babe, and an Alvarez
12-string guitar named Wildwood Rose, or Rosey.
I don't know why, nor do I know how to
explain it to those who don't grok such matters.
I just know it works for me!
