C'mon, just say NO! Explain that you have not been playing all
that long, and are not at the point where you can do requests in that short
amount of time (fer pete's sake! Six WEEKS???!!!). Explain nicely that
you will be happy to play any of your current repertoire, but learning
a new tune is a huge undertaking at your stage of learning, and you
respectfully decline. DON'T apologize, just explain that this is how it
is. Period. The mental agony is not worth it, and the bride can pay a
professional musician to learn it.
