Well, that last bit is your problem!
*looks left* *looks right* *whispers* Look, this is a harp. You don't
have to get every note right like on one of those Australian aborigone
drone pipes. If you mess up, don't worry, 'cause no one will notice!
But it does get easier to make your own sounds as you get better at
playing. Most of my diddling is just me rolling 3 or 4 note chords
and repeating them. Last year I was plunking single notes.
